McCutcheon Music first burst on to the scene in 1988 at 18 E. Franklin Street with a dream to teach music and bring music to the public population. After some time, there was second addition to the family at 38 Marco Lane in 1992. Since that time the store and studio has expanded to accommodate the needs for the surrounding area.

Guitar Man
Around these parts of the stores, Jim McCutcheon is known as the “Guitar Man” who has published a number of books and albums related to the instrument guitar. But he is anything but your average classical guitarist!
